🎯 Purpose of the Contest

To select the band or artist who will represent Romania at the European Blues Challenge 2026 (EBC), the premier blues competition in Europe, organized by the European Blues Union.

🎉 We’re thrilled to announce that the amazing blueswoman Kaz Hawkins will be part of the jury for the 𝐄𝐮𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐚𝐧 𝐁𝐥𝐮𝐞𝐬 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐞 – 𝐑𝐨𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐚! 🇷🇴💙
🎤 Not only will Kaz join us as a juror, but she will also grace the stage of the Open Air Blues Festival Brezoi 2025 with one of her legendary performances. What an honor!

Few voices have left a deeper imprint on the Romanian rock scene than Adi’s. Known as the unmistakable frontman of the iconic band Cargo, his powerful baritone, magnetic stage presence, and profound musical insight make him an invaluable addition to this year’s panel.
