About Federația RO BLUES
Federația RO BLUES is the national organization dedicated to promoting blues music in Romania. With extensive experience in organizing festivals, contests, and events, the Federation supports artists and the blues community by providing important platforms for development and visibility both nationally and internationally.
🎯 Purpose
To select the Romanian band/artist who will represent Romania at the European Blues Challenge 2027 (organized by the European Blues Union).
📅 Important Dates
🗓️ April 25, 2026 – Online registration deadline
🗓️ May 15, 2026 – Announcement of selected acts
🗓️ July 20, 2026 – National Final in Brezoi

🏆 Prize & Support for the Winner
The winning band/artist will have the unique opportunity to perform at the European Blues Challenge 2027, representing Romania on an international stage in front of promoters, agents, festival organizers, specialized press, and blues fans worldwide.
To support the winner’s participation, Federația RO BLUES will fully cover:
- International travel expenses for all band members
- Accommodation during the European Blues Challenge 2027
- Organizational support in communication with the EBU team
